What’s the weather like Weather Channel?

Hurricane Rita has rapidly strengthened with top winds of 140 mph
That makes her a category 4 Hurricane.

So my Question is do you want 2 tickets for Coldpaly or 2 tickets for Oasis this weekend in Houston $40 each.

Music

I love music old and new, the problem I having is Not enough new music, everybody sounds the same, and by the same I mean to sentimental to many feeling and shit Is Music not a fucking 15yr old schoolgirl diary.

Don’t get me wrong, I do like some of the new stuff.
So I recommend

My Bloody Valentine - Loveless old school

The Secret Machines - New EP

CD's of the week

After the disappointing Don’t believe the truth by OASIS, I was hoping for two good kick in the ass great CD’s by THE WHITE STRIPES & COLDPLAY, but instead I got kick in the head.

First The White Stripes, not bad not bad at all but is not a Rock record the songs are real mellow and yes there are a few rockers but mellow as a hole.
And now the record that everyone was waiting for COLDPALY, X&Y how do I criticize One of my favorite bands ever. Ok too many ballads and sad songs on this one is not what I expected form them Square One The opener is not super powerful to open the record, the next two What if? And White shadows are so so, song four Fix you will probably be the next single great, stars slow and builds up. Let’s talk and X & Y perfect B-Sides good but not special. And now we get to the first single Speed of sound or Clocks little brother, good song I guess, it grew on me, A message another ballad that stars with Chris singing my song is love, bit to cheese for me. Low and The hardest part, good songs but not mind blowing. Swallow by the sea I like this one, sign a long love song a keeper. Twisted logic another keeper sounds different from the rest of the CD like it.
Bonus track Til kingdom come slow love song, good closer.

Again Is Monday and I been listening to X&Y all mourning on a loop, I think is going to grow on me but I just did not blow my mind.
Time will tell, time will tell

Standout tracks:
Fix you
Speed of sound
Swallow by the sea
Twisted logic
Till kingdom come

New Week and it looks to be long
I’m worn-out I had a long weekend, But a good one to be honest. I took the dog to the park, I went to eat a the Ski Shore cool palace never been there, but happy to say I will be going back there and my Monday was not bad I work on a new piece an figure out the arrangement and I also have a better idea of what I want to with them. The bad thing was the Spurs lost; hope to close the suns on Wednesday.

I also have training to do this week we at the office have a new girl working with us and to put the cherry on top Bookfest starts this Friday and goes on till next Sunday

CD I purchase this weekend

Zaireeka

The Flaming Lips
This is somthing that is not for everyone. This is an experiment, as you are warned on the front cover. Experiments DO fail sometimes. This one may fail for you, but it is a rousing success for me.
This highly-original concept of four cds at once is shockingly refreshing. I was personally bored with other recordings after this one, and I look forward to being able to host a "Zaireeka party".
The songs by themselves have original concepts, so even if you are scared of or are annoyed by the odd combinations of sounds and edgy out-of-phase music, you can appreciate these lyrics. A song about a man driven insane when he imagines he is the last secret agent going back to hie base, to nothing? That's creepy.
If that's also a bit much for you, you should probably just stick with a band with less imagination.
